If the rubs are in the hair, magic eraser will take off color. If they are on the skin tone (not the painted cheeks, it will take that color off too) then Magic Eraser will probably make some improvement with a little elbow grease.
I like the original Magic Eraser, I could be wrong, but I think the new stronger one will be more abrasive. The regular one is micro-abrasive, so it does not visibly scratch up your dolly, it just buffs out scuffs, scrapes and shiny spots. If you try the new one, you can let us know how it goes.
Do you sew? I could trace Bitty's diaper for you? You could just cut it from white flannel, zigzag the edges, and add velcro?

Thanks, but unfourtanetly I do not sew . It's ok, Bitty will live without her diapey for now.
I will try the magic eraser later tonight and post the results. So it is ok to use the eraser on the forehead, just not on the checks and lips and hair right?
Thanks again!!!

So sad. Have you considered asking for your money back?

That's really too bad that the baby is not in great shape. We have two Bittys in our house and I just checked their necks. They both are older (one from 1998 and one from somewhere around 2000) but neither have these same numbers/letters as yours. Sorry I can't be of more help. - Meg

No, I'm not really a fussy person, but since I paid so much and only 11 less than new, I am pretty dissapointed . I drove 11 miles to get her in the pouring rain this morning and just peeked in the box, but didn't look her over good, but hey I had already bid and won. It was very windy and downpouring, so we did the exchange quickly(we met in a parking lot of a health club close to her house)
This lady I am sure just has no idea what she is doing on ebay and that flaws need to be listed and she should not have been listed in excellent condition, obviously she did not look her over good. Her daughter obviously did play with her at some point, just maybe not as much as she liked. She did mention to me that her older daughter had a bitty and played with her alot, that is what got me thinking, did I get the older daughter's bitty instead, in light of her condition.
I wouldn't have paid a cent over 20 for her, in her condition, but preferably would have just bought a new one. OPPS, on my part!!!!!!!
I think what appealed to me was getting her quickly and not waiting for her to come in the mail, else I would have ordered from AG. My impatience got the best of me!!!!!!

My bitty just has 14 on her neck with pleasant company over it.I got her off ebay and I'm fairly sure she's PM as she has really soft blonde lashes.I also have the same scuff marks.I did make some improvement with murphys oil soap but there are still some scratches.Hope that helps! We just bought our blonde bitty brand new from AGPNY last month. The numbers on her neck are24H9. Over that it says Pleasant Company.
